Seconds later, a second boy aged 12 was knifed in front of screaming classmates at a school in Brent, north-west London. Armed police raced to the school but the knifeman had fled. A suspect, who has not been named, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after being found hiding nearby around an hour later.
