Local motivational speaker discovers that friends + therapy = not dying inside
It’s both, they’re not mutually exclusive at all.
You have to take some responsibility for yourself, you have to get the ball rolling, you have to take time to understand yourself and see what you’re lacking and what you need. You have to recognize your problems, identify them, understand them, and admit that you have these problems.
Then you also have to ask for help. You have to build a community, whether that’s just 1-2 friends or your family or a church or a club, etc. You help people out, and they’ll help you out. If you’re talking about these kinds of things and finding connections with other people, then you’re gonna ground yourself more in the real world and think about your problems more before it reaches crisis mode.
