We don’t condemn all Yorkshiremen because of Sutcliffe, or all people from Herefordshire because of West. Not all Drs are Shipman, not all nurses are Allitt. Some people are simply evil. Blaming entire communities/professions/nationalities for the crimes of individuals is wrong

True, and ridiculous, and to be ignored, but there's more context to this than most who see the headline will realise. This 'warning' only applies to communal areas in council-owned housing. It's not a ban on everyone in Portsmouth having a Christmas wreath on theor front door.
