Emotional connection is why it’s important, and you should spend that out amongst multiple people so that all your needs get met in different ways and you in turn meet others’ needs in reciprocal symbiosis. A CMV thread isn’t going to enable you to do anything. You have to do the inner work of undoing generational trauma and unpicking shame to open yourself up to that. There’s no shortcut.
