cube planet walk uphill but flat = reddit solved physics

If it were a cube and you traveled along a straight side, you would actually be moving away from the center of the earth (against gravity) and it would feel like you’re walking uphill even though you could look back and it would be flat. But we also couldn’t have a cube planet if gravity still worked the way it does now
