I mentioned it elsewhere (specifically 1950s NK), but this is hilariously inaccurate.
The US would not effectively be able to blockade the USSR into submission. It may have been able to use nukes, but that potentially ends the US as a nation shortly thereafter, as the US does not have enough nukes to take on the whole world, and it's questionable whether the US population would stomach that kind of behavior from their own government.
The US could not have denied Eastern Europe from the air. You are conflating 1990s US with 1945 US, as anti-air in 1945 would have been quite effective against the US air force.
It also assumes that the US continuing their war against USSR is unopposed by Europe, most of which is used to a type of austerity that the US is not used to, with their entire European military force stationed in Europe and dependent on the European powers being allied with the US to continue supplying their forces.
