I didn’t consider myself to be a naive person, but since starting to work in homelessness advocacy, I have struggled with the sheer amount of people—homeowners, politicians, journalists—who truly believe that if you don’t have access to stable housing, you should just die.

It's ironic that they want a past back that they likely never had, when white men snatched kid off the street, whit priests assaulted kids in their churches, white teachers beat children with weapons, white businessmen raped kids for fun, oh, right, that's what they want 'back'!!
